  • uk student.

the 366MHz cpu isn’t clocked that high, but considering this is a student device, I hope the purpose of its inclusion instead of a faster cpu was so that you have to code efficiently rather than for monetary reasons.

first off, i’m not an old git – im a 16yo student in the UK, disgusted by the qualifications in IT. why would i need to learn visual basic and all this microsoft rubbish? it wont help me in a job, all shortcuts using vb are of course temporary. its a real hack and they shouldnt’ teach it!
the computing world nowadays is far to lazy- and all coding taught is always very high level. its buggy, inefficient and generally just crap.
think of the energy savings if every computer ran code that consumed less CPU time because it was efficient. cpu would have more time to be in lower clock or even a sleep mode, rather than executing needlessly long routines.

do yourselves a favour, go buy a PIC or an Atmel chip, and program it in raw machine code, or at the very least the appropriate Assembler. raw computation.
